Hey Scott, I LOVE cooking meals as well as pizzas. Auckland is a bit damp to use in the winter, however, I try to get my fire going on any fine day. It was good to get back to this site and see what others are doing. Cheers Cher, Auckland
G'day Scott, Great oven, unusual style. I like the benches around, it makes it easier to prepare everything. Are you using it often this winter?
Cheers, Roger Burns.

Hm, plans, I've heard of those. I did some drawings to help with basic concept and space considerations but in the end how it looks on the ground will determine what it looks like. As for what I do with my existing oven, anything that can be cooked with a fire insitu as it cools off too quickly otherwise. I regularly do pizza. Last night was roast chicken with roast potatoes and carrots and summer vegies. I have cooked bread but it tends to be dense panna da casa.
So you're building a new larger oven. What plans are you using? I see by your photos, your small one seems to get plenty of use. Are you making pizzas yet? Cheers, Roger Burns.
G'day Scott. I went to the Bakery in Waikerie last year on our way to hire a houseboat. A nice town. What stage is your oven up to? Is it finished? I'd love to see a pic. Cheers, Roger Burns
