We have 6 inches of snow so far and it is not yet 4 pm. The pictures of the portable ovens are from the Kneading Conference we attended two years ago in Maine. They are a French design using the special refractory material found there. It is supposed to be one of the better materials for heat retention baking. Maine Wood Heat Co. is the supplier in the USA. Keep warm, wood heats best.
Nice looking oven. Is it a barrel shape or round inside? Mine is a barrel vault shape in similar to the Daniel Wing/ Alan Scott design. I use their book as my plans. I redrew their sketches to fit the local supplies here in Ocean County NJ. How is it going? Lots of snow today.
